Sim Auction General Managers will receive a Power Rating based on their cumulative performance – the rating is determined by the following factors:
- Wins
- Run Differential – this is an important component of the formula, the luck factor is ever present in baseball, there are times when the number of wins does not tell the full story of how dominant or in many cases, how lucky a team was – incorporating run differential properly rewards the better teams.
- Bonus points for Run Differential above 100 runs.
- Bonus points for averaging100 or more wins in a season
- Bonus points for averaging 90 or more wins in a season
- Bonus points for sweeping the World Series
- Bonus points for defeating an opponent with a higher Power Rating. Note – for this component of the Power Rating to be activated, a player must defeat his opponent in both Wins & Run Differential.
- Point loss for losing to an opponent with a lower Power Rating – Note – for this component of the Power Rating to be activated, a player must lose to his opponent in both Wins & Run Differential.
